Workshop Engineer
Job purpose: As a workshop engineer you are mainly involved in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of (industrial) hoists and work/transport platforms. In the workshop these machinesare prepared for transport and installation on site.
Your responsibilities:
- The complete mechanical and electronic assembly and rental readiness of machines;
- Solving machine-related malfunctions and suggesting improvements;
- Guiding the other workshop employees and contributing positively to their development;
- Performing checks to determine whether the work carried out complies with current regulations and quality requirements;
- You frequently switch between various techniques such as electrical, assembly, drilling, grinding, welding, woodworking and the like;
- You maintain proactive contact with other departments to keep them informed of progress and developments
- You are able to replace the Workshop Manager in case of absence.
You profile :
- In possession of a technical MBO (Secondary vocational education) diploma;
- At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar position;
- In possession of the certificates Vol VCA, VVL, forklift or you are willing to obtain these;
- In possession of a valid VCA and VVL certificate or you are willing to obtain on
- A welding degree is a plus.
