Job purpose: As a Service Technician, you will be part of the Industrial team. The team Industrial, currently with 4 mechanics, focuses on maintaining lifting platforms and elevator installations for industry and construction. You will also maintain the rental fleet of lifts and mast climbers. You will mainly be involved in the maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of all these installations. You work on location, in all weather conditions and at height.  You mainly work alone or occasionally with a colleague.

Your responsibilities:

• Independently performing scheduled inspections and maintenance work for customers in the Benelux;
• Leaving our product working and safe “in operation” or when deploying follow-up actions;
• Taking care of a thorough administration, such as drawing up service- and inspection reports
• Completing (work) receipts for material use;
• Training and educating the customer in the use and maintenance of the products of

Alimak Group Benelux;

• You are our business card with the customer, it is important to present yourself well.

You profile:

• In possession of a technical MBO (Secondary vocational education) diploma (level 3 or higher) in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent;
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar technical maintenance position;
• You have additional training in the field of electrical engineering and NEN3140 VP or you are willing to obtain these;
• You have demonstrable knowledge of control technology (PLC, frequency controls, etc.);
• In possession of a valid VCA certificate or you are willing to obtain one;
• In possession of a driving license (B and BE or your are willing to obtain one);
• You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, fluency in French is an advantage.
• Willing to work outside regular working hours and occasionally on Saturdays;
• Willingness to occasionally stay overnight.
• Willing to perform 24/7  service  on  a  special  project  / lift
