Service Technician

Job purpose: Tasks range from maintenance and repair to troubleshooting or assisting with inspections. The Service Technician Overhaul focuses on façade installations. The Service Technician is part of the Overhaul Team, receives assignments from the Overhaul Team Leader and provides functional leadership to the Prospective Service Technician. The Overhaul Service Technician mainly carries out the work on his own.

Part of the work is carried out in all weather conditions, provided that safety is not compromised and includes working at height.

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for independently performing planned inspections, maintenance work according to schedule.
  • Performs overhaul work according to schedule.
  • Repairs malfunctions independently.
  • Responsible for leaving the product working and ‘in operation’ or the implementation of follow-up actions.
  • Performs additional checks on fail-prone components.
  • Installs and assembles (parts of) the installation in such a way that it can be approved and delivered.
  • You are our business card with the customer, it is important to present yourself well.

Your profile:

  • In possession of a technical MBO (Secondary vocational education) diploma (level 3 or higher) in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar technical maintenance position;
  • You have additional training in the field of electrical engineering and NEN3140 VP or you are willing to obtain these;
  • In possession of a valid VCA certificate or you are willing to obtain one;
  • In possession of a driving license (B and BE or you are willing to obtain one);
  • You have a good knowledge of the Dutch and English language;
