Account Manager

Job purpose:

The account manager is responsible for all aspects related to sales and relationship management within the Benelux with a focus on Belgium. This is for the machines, services and products of the Construction division, which focuses on machines that provide a temporary workplace at height or temporary access at height during the construction process for which the position holder has been appointed. The Account Manager is part of the sales team which is managed by the General Manager. In addition, the account manager works closely with the project managers and application engineers to ensure the right offer and service for new and existing customers.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independent preparation of quotations for products and services within the Alimak Group.
  • Responsible for achieving the set targets in terms of turnover and margin within the designated region. To this end, draws up a sales plan for the designated focus area;
  • Is able to oversee entire market and product segments and achieve corresponding results through seniority;
  • Responsible for account management such that new and existing relationships are adequately maintained. Independently builds and expands a customer portfolio based on new and existing customers;
  • Providing technical advice in consultation and coordination with application technology.
  • Reporting periodically to the General Manager on results, forecasts and developments regarding relations and the market.

You profile :

  • In possession of a Technical / commercial education Bachelor level
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an equal positionExperience with MS Office;
  • Technical knowledge
  • Dutch, French and English spoken and written;
  • Customer focus;
  • Communication skills;
  • Flexible;
  • Result-oriented.
