When you meet someone who’s both razor-sharp with numbers and genuinely warm-hearted, you know you’ve found a rare gem. That’s exactly what you get with our colleague, Per Elmfeldt, who’s working in Mergers & Acquisitions and strategy at Alimak Group.
Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, Per made the move to Stockholm nearly 15 years ago to study, and never looked back. Today, he’s a key player in driving M&A projects, evaluating investment opportunities, building business cases, analysing markets, and supporting
all five of our divisions with strategic projects.
In short: if there’s a big move happening, chances are Per had a hand in it.
Having joined us three years ago, he found a sweet spot where global reach meets tangible impact. “I love the variation,” Per says. “One day I’m deep in analysis, the next day I’m traveling to meet external partners or colleagues from around the world.” And
it’s not just the work that’s rewarding—it’s seeing real results, like finalized acquisitions or value creating action plans born from market insights.
Before joining us, Per built a solid foundation in corporate finance advisory and thereafter business controlling within private equity. So why Alimak Group? “I wanted to work with M&A in a global industrial company. The fact that we’re listed and backed by
Latour made it even more appealing.”
When it’s time to recharge, you’ll find him at the gym, spending time in the kitchen cooking some delicious meals, or escaping to the family summer house by the ocean. And while he doesn’t have a life motto carved in stone, his approach is clear: “Work hard,
do your best—but don’t forget to have fun along the way.”
Per describes our culture as action-oriented and inclusive, with a flat structure that encourages ownership and growth. “It’s a place where experienced professionals challenge and support you. That’s a great foundation for development. Even though we’re a global
company with around 3,000 employees, it still feels like a smaller, friendly place. There’s a real sense of community.”
If you’re looking for a workplace where ambition is supported, impact is real, and the people are genuinely great—Per’s story is proof that you’ve come to the right place.
