Interview with Francisco Blas ; Operations Manager, USA

One such exemplary colleague is Francisco Blas, Operations Manager in the HSPS Division in North America, Houston. Francisco’s journey with us is a testament to his dedication, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Originally from Mexico, Francisco joined Tractel in January 2019 as a Production Manager. Over the years, his skills and leadership qualities saw him rise to the position of Product Manager for North America before taking on his current role in Houston. Since August of last year, Francisco has been instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in optimal condition.
Relocating to a new country and adapting to a different language and culture was a significant change for Francisco. However, his resilience and the support of his excellent team in Houston have made the transition smoother. Francisco’s primary responsibility is to oversee the timely and accurate delivery of products, working closely with the purchasing team to ensure materials are ordered and shipped as promised. He also manages the organization of our distribution warehouse, ensuring that inventory is properly labeled, tracked, and stored for easy access.
Francisco’s journey with the group marked by his ability to solve complex problems and improve efficiency. He thrives on analyzing systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing changes that lead to measurable improvements in productivity, cost savings, and customer satisfaction. Leading a team and witnessing the direct impact of strategic decisions on day-to-day performance is a source of great satisfaction for him.
Before joining Tractel, Francisco worked in the automotive industry as a Mechatronics Engineer, holding positions such as Production Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, and Fault Analyst. His decision to join the company was driven by our reputation as a global leader in vertical access solutions, our commitment to safety and sustainability, and the opportunity to be part of a company that values innovation and employee development.
Outside of his professional life, Francisco is passionate about animals and outdoor activities. He enjoys playing and watching soccer and has recently become an enthusiastic fan of Formula 1 racing. Family and friends hold a special place in his heart, and he cherishes every opportunity to spend time with them, despite often living far away. To recharge during a busy week, Francisco takes short breaks to disconnect completely, whether by going for a walk, listening to music, or engaging in outdoor activities. These moments help him clear his mind, reduce stress, and return to work with renewed focus and energy.
